  Found an Awake at the rest stop today..and I knew exactly what to do....

  found it at a rest stop today while traveling.

  i thought about tossing it, but decided it had a much better purpose.

  it was an issue on what to teach your young child - cute picture of a little girl (about 4 years old) on the cover.. so - i took it to my car, got out a pretty purple pen and wrote on the cover "this religion has a major probelm with pedophiles and is hurtful to young children.

  WHY DOES THE WTBS HOARD CASH

  they must have billions...annual revenue alone was almost a billion last year.

  they must have close to 10 billion in assets and a large chunk of that is cash.

  if the world is going to end any day that cash is useless.

  Excuses "Plan for the future". There is no future according to them and if they have a mountain of cash that could really go a long way to helping people. What good is it if the world ends tomorrow. If it's going to end soon let's see them put thier self rightious money where thier propoganda is. They have no right or business critisizing the state of the world if they are hoarding cash (according to them) unecessarily. Actually they do have business....big business.

  Kwint those Canadian finacials are peanuts compared to the U.S. especially since almost all of the Canadian cash was funelled outside of Canada on the last finacials I saw. Presumably the money is being sent to WTBS U.S.

  If you look around you will find the U.S. ones on freeminds or the url links from there.

  To continue...In general I prefer the blend Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and Franc. My favorites of this group are from the Haut Medoc region in France.

  As far as whites go, I really enjoy the french wine Pouilly Fuisse...alot!

  I have had decent wines from many places though Australia, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, all over eastern and western Europe.

  In the U.S. I like wines from California, and even Washington and Oregon.

  Even Canada has a couple of interesting and decent wines. We are world famous for Icewine but I don't really like the stuff.

  I enjoy wine now and then. I used to drink it more often either with or without meals but now I just take very small samples to satisfy a curiousity of a particular wine. I really try hard to limit anything that will add pounds.

  I have sampled many wines from different parts of the world and my favorite (as a group) Merlot wines are Californian.

  We had another thread (kind find it now) but it was a Corvin creation and it askied if you could say something nice about someone on this board who would it be.

  I am going to take this opportunity here Brownboy. I may think your ideas are not correct but I have to say that your dedication and meticulous effort is admirable. If I had a business with a half dozen employees who are as meticulous, dedicated and passsionate as you at what you believe in we would be a Fortune 100 company in no time.

  Brownboy you spend way too much time on this stuff. It looks like you had an answer in mind and tried to work backwards from there twisting and turning any which way you could to get there.

  Sorry to be so blunt because this stuff is obviously important to you but you did ask for the opinion.

  They always bitch and whine about the state of the world but they hold so much cash and have been hoarding it for years. Yes I know other religions are cash rich too but according to the WT the world is going to end any second. What good is all that cash? As a present to Jesus after Armageddon?

  Maybe it is Jehovah's plan that all the abused ex JWs get that cash through the legal system and free up the WT's heavy cash burden so when they go into the new order it won't be like "a camel passing through the eye of a needle".

  What amazes me is that they think that somehow these words will stop those many JWs who are living double lives. It has been going on for a long time. Many of them live double lives because their are afraid if they leave their friends and family will be cut off. Many others live the JW double life so they can use the strictness of the cults tenets to control there wives and kids. A few useless words and an idle threat isn't going to change that.

  It's all lip service from the WT and that's all it's ever been from them.

  who thinks "judge" rutherford really believed what he wrote?.

  i believe it was in the salter letter where it is stated that rutherford said once that he had "bluffed his way through life".

  think he also "bluffed" his way when writing and talking about "the theocracy"?
